Personal branding and leadership expert for organizations

Marie Beauchesne

Professional identities are my subject. For over ten years, I have helped executives and managers position themselves, be recognized and develop their leadership, while staying true to who they are.

Keynote speaker (3 TEDx) · Sciences Po Paris graduate · Teaching at EFAP and ESSEC

Portrait of Marie Beauchesne

Day to day, I support executives and managers, in large groups and mid-sized companies alike, through keynotes, training and one-to-one support, notably within Sens Futur, the management consulting firm I co-founded in 2019.

Alongside my professional activities, I have also been teaching at ESSEC Executive Education and EFAP since 2023.

As an author, I am published by Dunod: a first edition in 2021 (La marque, c'est moi), a second edition in 2023 (Le personal branding quand on n'aime pas se mettre en avant, personal branding for people who don't like the spotlight) and a third edition planned for 2027. The books are in French.

For more than fifteen years, I have worked between two worlds: business, where results are expected, and ideas, where we take the time to understand. This dual demand shapes my approach: half critical, half practical, it brings personal development into dialogue with psychology and the sociology of work.

That approach led me to a conviction: personal branding is neither a social media game nor a performance. It is first about getting clear on who you are, so as to be recognized without exposing yourself more than you wish.

Before working at the crossroads of consulting and training, I started my career in advertising, between New York and Paris. I also spent two years in the world of fashion, creating my own brand between 2015 and 2017.

That is where my conviction comes from: ideas have to be embodied to have impact. It was around then that I gave my three TEDx talks, between 2016 and 2018.

For several years, I have been extending my work on professional identities to the upheavals brought by artificial intelligence: what happens to our bearings when jobs are transformed?

In 2027, I am also starting a research project to study the psychological effects of personal branding, in particular on mental health.
